The 8th China (Guangzhou) International Musical Instruments Expo is held in Area C, Pazhou Complex from Mar. 9 to Mar. 12, 2011. Continuing the success in 2010, the 2011 expo scale is stepping to a new level with one exhibition hall increased. Exhibitor recruiting is going smoothly with 80% booths selling out. Until end of October 2010, there are already 215 exhibitors confirming participating in the show.
 
 
A Grand Gathering of Exhibitors Home and Abroad
 
The 2011 show has won great support from companies home and abroad, including Pearl River Piano, Hailun Piano, Jinbao, Baojia Percussion, Xinghai Group, Cherub, Kapok, Scott Cao Violin from China, Marco Piccinotti, Stefano Trabucchi, Giorgio Grisales, Bachmann Guitars & Tonewood, Cremona violin store and Patricola from ItalyDavid Ayache and Alain Meyer from France; Scalerail from UK; Tonewood from Slovakia; G&G from Japan; PianoDisc, Amati Trading LLC & Amati Books, Robert Ames, Michael Franke Violins and Van Wesel Violins from US.
 
The Expo will be a big showcase of Chinese and western instruments, and a unique platform for exhibitors to tap into the South China and Southeast Asia market.
 
 
Highlights 2011
 
1、Expanding Scale
2011 expo extends from 3 to 4 days, with an exhibition area of 56,000 m2 (including that of Pro SoundLight show), 45% increase compared with that of 2010.
 
2、Two Halls with Better Efficiency
To create a comfortable exhibition environment for both exhibitors and visitors, 2011 expo continues to optimize hall layout according to products dividend. One hall is for Piano, Stringed instruments and accessories; the other for wind instruments, percussion, electronic instruments and traditional Chinese instruments.
 
3、Fantastic Live Shows
A live show stage will be set up for exhibitors performing their edged products, providing visitors opportunities to tap into the newest products.
 
4、Continual Concurrent Activities
Professor Chen AnHua from Xinghai Conservatory of Music continues his presence in 2011 show to share Zither (Guzheng) performance experience with music lovers.
 
 
Professional and Comprehensive Visitors Organizing Plan
 
Pre-registration has been kicked off, with professional visitors showing positive feedbacks. Besides 7-year brand name in South China, the comprehensive visitor organizing plan has also played an important role in attracting professional visitors.
 
1、DM, Email and ^one-on-one phone invitation ̄ are receiving positive feedbacks. Through more specific visitor dividend, Guangzhou Expo employs different ways to invite visitors from different sectors to ensure success rate. Invitations are sent to both new visitors and over 60,000 former visitors.
 
2、Online promotions with high coverage and penetration are undertaking. To reach target groups directly, we promote the show on platforms like exhibition websites, BBS, blogs, online communities and so on, which generates high traffic of professional visitors. Besides, to ensure press coverage, we also promote the show on main B2B websites, such as Alibaba, Tradekey, Bitztrade, Trade India etc. Currently, our show promotion has covered more than 20 Chinese professional online platforms and over 40 international platforms.
 
3、^Exhibitors¨ Guests Invitation Program ̄ will be continued in 2011. The program has attracted a great number of target visitors and set up a communication platform for exhibitors and guest visitors, but also to the show.
 
4、Media partners continue their support to Guangzhou expo. More advertisements would be run on more than 20 industrial professional magazines and websites home and abroad, with featured report in 5 professional medium. Promotions in mass medium, such as newspapers and radios, are intending to create word-of-mouth before the event.
