Widely recognized as the largest industrial event in South China, the China (Guangzhou) Expo on Pro SoundLight, Music & Enping Microphone 2012 marked its 10th anniversary on 29th February ¨C 3rd March.
The 2012 expo took place in Area A, exhibition halls with the best facilities in China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex, enabling the expansion of its exhibitor base and featured pavilions across around 90,000 m2 of trade show floor space. Two music halls are set up according to exhibit varieties for better displaying effect and visiting experience.
1085 exhibitors, including 328 musical instrument exhibitors, participated in the show, with an increase of 28.8% compared with that of last year. Visitor number also boosted to 43,257 with an increase of 20.7%.
A variety of activities, including ¡°Seminar on profit increase mode¡± for musical instruments dealers, educational lecture of ¡°Researching Report by Music Education Experts¡±, Zither lecture by Professor Jiao Jinhai and Live Music shows are concurrently held. Invited artists have presented fascinating performance of Erhu, Souna, and Saxophone, a harmony combination of Western and Chinese music. Besides, a performing team invited from Music College also presented Folk Music, Rock Music and Zither performance, which had also generated a great number of visitors. Moreover, the newly added Lucky Draw session had no doubt thrilled the audience
