Possitive reaction from the visit to Guangdong enterprises

　　China (Guangzhou) International Musical Instruments Expo is a professional expo organized by National Muscial Instrument Industry Information Center and Guangdong International Science & Technology Exhibition Company. Guangzhou expo has been held successfully for three years since 2004. The exhibition area has reached 6000m² in 2006 and attracted over 130 enterprises from demostic and oversea coutries. On August 3-5, 2007, the 4th Guangzhou International Musical Instruments Expo will be held in Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, with the 5th China (Guangzhou) Expo on Pro Sound & Light held concurrently.

　　During December 17-21, 2006, members from National Musical Instrument Industry Information Center went to Guangdong for investigation. They visited some Guangdong enterprises, introduced the preparation work of Guangzhou expo 2007, asked for their opinions, invited them to participate in the expo and create the brand show in South China together. In such a short time, the organizer has visited Guangzhou Pearl River Piano Group, Bluthner Piano, Guangzhou Daqian Music Shop, Guangzhou Great Wall Audio/Musical Instrument Company, Sihui Huasheng Musical Instruments Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Paul Ka musical instruments factory Limited, Guangdong Venson Music Shop, Sanshui Longsheng Musical Instrument Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Yinyuan Musical Instrument Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Pearl River Instrument Co., and Ningbo Helen Musical Instruments Co., Ltd Guangzhou Branch, etc.

　　Organizer has given the introduction of Guangzhou expo and the preparation work of next year to those enterprises, listening to their suggestions and solving the problems arised. We learnt that some enterpises have a certain misunderstandings to Guangzhou expo, considering this expo as the one held in Guangzhou gymnasium in 2002. (It is said that the musical instrument expo once held in Guangzhou gymnasium lasted only two days as it lacked of visitors. ) We clarified this matter there that China (Guangzhou ) International Musical Instruments Expo began in 2004 and the venue is always in Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Exhibitor number has reached 100 or so from the first section. It is obvious that Guangzhou expo has won the recognition after the explanation of us.

　　During this visit, we have met some new customers, who paid great attention to our expo but did not attend the expo due to a certain reason. We have gained our expectation of promoting the understanding between each other and publicizing Guangzhou expo through this visit. Guangdong enterprises hold a possitive attitude towards Guangzhou expo and hope this expo can develop strongly both in effect and scale. Bluthner Piano、Guangzhou Yinyuan Musical Instrument、Guangzhou Great Wall Audio/Musical Instrument Company, Sanshui Longsheng Musical Instrument Co., Ltd, Guangdong Venson Music Shop showed their great interest in Guangzhou expo 2007 and some of them have booked the booths already.

　　We have also visited Guangzhou Pearl River Piano Group,Sihui Huasheng Musical Instruments Co., Ltd and Guangzhou Paul Ka musical instruments factory Limited, who have participated in Guangzhou expo for three years. Managers of those companies pointed out that Guangzhou expo shall attach great importance to persistence and hope the organizer to publicize more and invest more. They suggested that every favorable measure be taken and more colorful activities be held during the exhibition in order to attract more exhibitors and agents.

　　On December 22 morning, the first working conference has been held on the company visit, with Mr. Chen Jinwu and Meng Yu from National Musical Instrument Information Center, General manager Mr. Liao Ting and Vice general manager Ms. Ma jing from Guangdong International Science & Technology Exhibition Company attending the meeting. Several topics have been discussed during the meeting such as the plan for company recruitment, publication and expo effect upgrade. The organizer has reached a consensus as follows:

1. National Musical Instrument Industry Infromation Center will continue to cooperate with Guangdong International Science & Technology Exhibition Company to hold the 4th China (Guangzhou) International Musical Instrument Expo. The organizer will keep on with a huge investment, follow the aim to create the brand show in South China and enlarge the scale and enhance the influence of the expo.
2. Taking the industrial base of Guangzhou piano and guitar and the potential market of national musical instruments into consideration, Guangzhou expo 2007 will attach more importance to the recruitment, expo arrangement, publication and the activities.
3. Centering on Guangdong enterprises, Guangzhou expo put forward the slogan “create Guangzhou expo together with Guangdong musical instruments enterprises”, taking advantage of Guangdong province as the most important musical instrument base, wholesale base and foreign trade base in South China.
4. Organizing foreign visitors will still be of great improtance in Guangzhou expo 2007. Besides oversea advertisements, foreign buyers will be invited to communicate with the exhibitors for the first time. For the invited buyers, organizer will specially budget in their transportation and accommodation.
5. Improving service quality to provide better service to exhibitors and assisting our exhibitors with material acquiring, registration, show directory entering, goods transportation, and booth design will be our goal in next year’s expo.
6. We plan to hold Guangzhou Guitar Cultural Festival during Guangzhou expo 2007, inviting famous music player and campus band to perform in the show to attract more music amateur and upgrade its social infulence.

　　The organizer has gained the opinions and suggestions from the enterprises and exhibitors as well as making a lot of new friends besides contacting the old ones through this visit. After the working conference, we have come to a plan for the expo in 2007 with a clear direction. We hold the believe that Guangzhou expo next year will surely provide a better trade platform for all the exhibitors and meanwhile, we sincerely invite you to attend the show in August, 2007.
