The 21st Guangzhou International Musical Instruments Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as Music Guangzhou) has been successfully held on 27-30 May 2025 in Area B, China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
As a great event in the musical instrument industry, Music Guangzhou covered an exhibition space of 40,000 square meters in 4 halls and attracted more than 600 enterprises to present. With the four-dimensional innovative model of "product display + technology release + industry forum + music interaction", Music Guangzhou deeply presented the trends of the musical instrument industry such as the intelligent transformation, China-Chic innovation and cross-border integration. In 2025, Music Guangzhou, Prolight + Sound Guangzhou and Visual X were held concurrently, spanning a total exhibition space of 250,000 square meters in 27 halls and 3,000 exhibitors participated, which created an ecosystem for the future and inject new energy into the high-quality development of the industry.
Intelligent musical instruments presented vitality
2025 Music Guangzhou presented achievements of both traditional musical instruments and modern technology. In the traditional musical instruments exhibition area, visitors could enjoy classic musical instruments including pianos, violins and guitars, which combined exquisite design and innovative manufacturing techniques. The International Violin Exhibition Area presented both classic styles passed down from ancient violin-making workshops in Italy and excellence works designed by modern violin makers with innovative concepts. In addition, many brands showcased high-end custom versions of traditional musical instruments, which met different needs of customers. Musical Instruments made of eco-friendly materials such as the "Renewable Carbon Fiber Violin" attracted many professional visitors. With the in-depth integration of AI technology and the musical instrument industry, intelligent musical instruments emerged at the exhibition site, including intelligent pianos, intelligent guitars, stringless automatic accompaniment guitars, AI music teaching systems, sheet music, intelligent metronome, smart speakers and intelligent effect devices.
A platform for international exchange and business cooperation
In 2025, Music Guangzhou built an efficient business platform through convenience service of "exhibition + conference + procurement". International company representatives and International buyers from India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Russia, Thailand, Vietnam and other countries and regions were invited to participate in this event, which provided opportunities for exhibitors to expand their markets. Diversified activities provided wonderful experience
Highlight Splendid Music Festival was the first digital music festival featuring "AI + XR Virtual Scenes × 3D Glorious Sound". As the core activities in 2025, Highlight Splendid Music Festival invited over 200 masters to perform and attracted many visitors to enjoy. Maestro Zheng Quan: Exhibition of Violin Craftsmanship was one of the major highlight, displaying 30 representative violins to showcase the unique craftsmanship of the great violin makers. Some of these works showcased the excellent craftsmanship of traditional techniques, while others redefined the aesthetic value of violins through integrating modern design concepts. In addition, Award-Winning Works of the 4th String Tone Appreciation Competition in 2025 brought high-quality violin works that won awards and visitors could try the violins. The live music show showcased the unique charm of different musical instruments and visitors enjoyed themselves in the rhythm.
