The 19th Guangzhou International Musical Instruments Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as Music Guangzhou) has been successfully held on 22nd-25th May 2023 in Area B of China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. In 2023, Music Guangzhou covered an exhibition area of 40,000 square meters in 4 halls, and 667 exhibitors presented superior products and 48125 dealers, music teachers and amateurs participated in this event. During the exhibition, 57 seminars were held to present new market information and trends, which promoted the development of the industry.
Exhibitors brought innovative products
In 2023, brand companies brought a wide variety of innovative products, such as intelligent pianos and drums, combining digital technologies and musical instruments. Exhibits covered the whole industry chain including piano & keyboards, electric & electronic musical instruments, percussion instruments, fretted guitars, bowed and stringed instruments, brass wind instruments, traditional Chinese instruments, music education & training, accordions & harmonicas, music related computer hardware & software, sheet music & books and accessories. Music Guangzhou provided exhibitors a platform to show their brand images, present new products, communicate with visitors and catch new business chances. It attracted visitors from home and abroad to learn new designs, advanced technologies and updated industry information. More than 20 buyer delegations visited Music Guangzhou, including Malaysia delegation, Thailand delegation and Japan delegation.
Industry forums analyzed development trend
Through these 57 professional forums, conferences and music education lectures in Music Guangzhou, both enterprises and visitors focused on practice more than ever before. Visitors could get a grasp of the industry development trends, gain efficient management experiences, learn performing techniques and communicate about new ideas. Professor Zhongshan Wang, Professor Jun Wang and Professor Zeping Zhu presented during the exhibition, which showed that we could communicate and exchange information in daily life by musical instruments. During the Training Lecture on Music Enterprise Management for Principals, an expert considered that there were development chances for the educational institution because music education was an important method to improve the ability to appreciate beauty and create beauty.
Activities and performances cheered up the show
Music Guangzhou organized excellent activities and wonderful live performances to cheer up the show and pump up visitors. Violin-making workshop attracted attention from visitors, and Professor Quan Zheng shared violin-making knowledge, techniques and experiences. Furthermore, live streaming platform was launched as before. This convenient communication mode helped to break geographical and time barriers so that visitors could join this event online. Masters were invited to present new products, new designs and new ideas, which attracted 13,000 viewers.
